Our New Vietnam Office

We are delighted to announce the opening of our new Vietnam office in Ho Chi Minh City which is headed by country manager Diep Tran, who has strong experience in food and FMCG distribution and sales in the local market.

Patrick Meikle, our global commercial manager, says the advantages of operating closer to key clients have been magnified since the pandemic travel restrictions. “Having staff on the ground means we can offer closer support to our customers, respond in real-time to any disruptions and seize new opportunities as they come up.”

Golden Bay Fruit has established a foothold for a number of its exclusive IP apple varieties in Vietnam, such as Ruby Star and Cherish.

We also have high hopes for our newest apple offering, Sassy™ , which performed well in initial focus group testing in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Vietnam is the company’s fourth offshore office, joining the UK, Shanghai and Singapore.
